With the above error, the plugin works in an already published form. But it turns out that when the plug-in is enabled, it’s impossible to publish a new video. Along with the already listed error, two new ones appear:

Warning: Can not modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at / home / host1535070/jaesm.ru/htdocs/www/wp-content/plugins/embed-video-thumbnail/src/Ikana/EmbedVideoThumbnail/Provider/Youtube. php: 63) in /home/host1535070/jaesm.ru/htdocs/www/wp-admin/post.php on line 198

I disabled the firewall and the security plug-in disconnecting the Rest IP, but the problem did not resolve.

    Hello @crimeafrend,

This error should be fixed in 1.1.4.
Can you give it a try ?

    Best regards

This error has disappeared, but a new one has appeared. ?? The miniatures have disappeared. Instead, a black rectangle with a player icon is displayed. After clicking on the icon, a video appears and its normal playback begins.

And one more note on the design of the administrative part of the plug-in panel. It seems to me that it was possible to equip it with user-friendly buttons that clearly determine which function is turned on and which one is deactivated. I’m not exactly stupid and I messed with the plugin in the hope of setting it up for an hour, but I really did not understand in which position the option is turned on, in which it is off. I had to determine this by the method of scientific poking. Maybe this is a feature of translating into my language of inscriptions, but you need to know that other users may experience similar difficulties.

    Forgive, but only noticed that the link to the thumbnail has a modified design, like: <div class = “ikn-evt-frame” data-id = “8N2RjqMCB8Y” data-source = “youtube” data-embed-url = “// https://www.youtube.com/embed/8N2RjqMCB8Y?”><div class = “ikn-evt-container”> <div class = “ikn-evt-play-button”> </ div> </ div> </ div> . In general, the plug-in stopped picking up miniatures.

    Hi @crimeafrend,

Thanks you for your feedback, it is very helpful.
There was an error when the API key was restricted by referrer.

I fixed this error in 1.1.5.
Let me know if everything works, if not can you give me your website url & the referrer you filled in the google developer console ?

I will later add error logs on the administrative side to make everyone know what is happening with the plugin.

Regarding the administrative part, i’m not sure i understood what is your issue.
Is it a translation related issue ? Does the plugin administration not show up in english ?

    Best regards

Great work! As far as I can see after the upgrade to 1.1.5, all the functions of the plug-in are working as stated. Regarding the administrative part. With the translation everything is fine, but on the interface buttons I personally do not know in which position the option is turned on, in which it is off. Maybe I’m too conservative, but it seems to me, the inhabitants of the planet earth is characterized by such logic. If there is an inscription (function) and opposite its toggle, on which it is written, “off”, then this option is deactivated. Now in the administrative part, everything is the other way around. When you turn it off, there is a button with the word “on”. I think that opposite the functions you need toggle switches, showing both positions: on – off. And the active position of the toggle switch was highlighted, so that the user could clearly see what state it was in.

P.S. Perhaps in the inscriptions it was meant to “turn on” and “turn off”, not their real state, but an action that can be performed with them. But, firstly, on the buttons in my translation the inscriptions are shortened and therefore it is not clear whether this is “included” (as the present situation) or “include” (as a possible action). Secondly, as a person for many years working with a variety of techniques, I’m used to the stereotype that the toggle switch reflects the real position “on” – “off”, and not the action that can be further turned on or off. I clearly outlined my idea? ??

    Hi @crimeafrend,

Thank you very much for your report, and for your 5 stars review, I really appreciate it. I’m glad you like my plugin !

I did several tests on the english version on the plugin, and ask for help to a fluent english speaker and he did not notice any UI or translation issue on the administrative part.
It would be really helpful if you could send me screenshots of the differents screens and switches you are not comfortable with to [email protected] so i can improve the UI.

    Best regards
