Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty

  • Hi,

    I have installed the Events Calendar on several websites and it works great!

    However, when I activate it when using the Directory template I get this warning when using the search tool on the homepage:

    Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in /homepages/3/d112522280/htdocs/goutezlotbiniere/wp-includes/post.php on line 1094

    There seems to be a conflict between the post types generated by the theme and those set by the template…

    How can I fix this?

  • Hi kaylynnej,

    Have you tried contacting the Directory template author? We cannot guarantee compatibility with all themes and some themes may have issues that are beyond our control…

    Hi,

    Yes, I did contact the Directory theme author and he gave me an answer very similar to yours…

    However, I did manage to hide the warnings by writing

    ini_set( ‘display_errors’, 0 );

    at the top of my wp-config file. But I know this does not fix the problem!
