Warning in WordPress 5.5

Yes I see this problem too

For me, IF MENU does not show the conditional menu items in WP5.5. Is there a chance that problem will be solved?

I’ve muted the warning for myself by adding in line 350 of if-menu.php a parameter:

'permission_callback' => current_user_can( 'administrator' ),

but it should be resolved by the plugin authors.

PHP Notice: register_rest_route was called incorrectly. The REST API route definition for if-menu/v1/did-you-made-this-request is missing the required permission_callback argument. For REST API routes that are intended to be public, use __return_true as the permission callback. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.5.0.)
