    Hey guys,

I was in my website dashboard and saw there is an update available for wordpress, I just clicked on update and process has started, I was away for like 20 mins and once i came back, the last message on update page was “Disabling Maintenance mode…” I just waited another 20 mins but nothings changed. So i decided to reload the page but guess what, Now i can’t access WP-Admin and my website has an error on top of header:

Warning: ini_get_all() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/itscoolb/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 1020

How can i fix it guys? I can only access my website files via FTP and cpanel, Thank you

  • @itscoolbro – I guess they added phpinfo to the list of disabled_functions which is rather bizarre and never heard of. If a host won’t even let you do that, I’d go elsewhere.

@itscoolbro, It’s disabled! Ask your hosting provider to enable it.

    HI guys
I have the same problem ,
    if someone fixed it
    share his experiance pleassssssse…

    Tnx

I think many people are experiencing the same issue here….

Is it possible for WordPress to work out an update that will remove this error message or not let it appear on the web page because it looks unpresentable for a live website…

    Hi
I have the same problem. what should I do?
When wordpres 4.6.1 comes? Is it better to install 4.5 again now?

@[email protected], Problem isn’t from WordPress. it’s from server end (PHP less than 5.5)

@javad, You can upgrade your hosting PHP version to 5.5 or 5.6 (preferred).

@hamada Habib Tnx. I upgraded my PHP to 5.6. but still I have problem!

@hamada Habib 5.5 and 5.6 -neither fix the problem for me.

That fix does not work for everyone.

Folks, we understand that you’re frustrated, but if you choose to jump into this thread, please do everyone involved the courtesy of actually reading the thread.

The issue at hand is one of server configuration. Something has been blocked by your hosting provider which really should never have been blocked. A suggestion has been made already on how you can attempt to fix this yourself, and if not, what you can express to your hosting provider. Please review this thread, and you’ll find that.

Meanwhile, the developers have been kind enough to consider changing this in 4.6.1, despite it still being a problem with your hosting provider. That work is underway, again please review this thread, and you’ll find details on that.

We don’t want to have to repeat ourselves constantly, and the people who have subscribed to this thread via email don’t want to hear us repeat ourselves constantly. So, again if you do plan to jump in with “what do I do?” or “what is being done?” please do everyone involved here the courtesy of reviewing the thread first. We are more than willing to answer specific questions if they have not already been addressed here.

@sendmecakes I’m with the same hosting service as you Fast2host and have just sent them a request for assistance

@james Huff, You’re right. So I suggest to close this topic.

    Thanks for all

I’d like to chance leaving this open for a while longer, in hopes of being able to collect actually useful data or answering any unanswered questions. But yes, if we do continue to get the same already answered questions here, we’re just going to have to close it.

fixed by reverting to php v5.5 in cpanel( for shared hosting). hosting provide take more time for activating (ini_get_all())

@james Huff, Thank you for your replay and I think yes, it’s best chance to collect data.

    @absolutoz, Congratulation.
