    Hi,

I’ve just recently finished building my first wp site so I am not too experienced yet and would like some advice.

I am using backWPup and every time I run a backup I get this error:

WARNING: Job restart due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes.

Then the job continues to run and it later says:

WARNING: Job has done with warnings in 666 seconds. Please resolve them for correct execution.

Can someone tell me if I’m producing working backups or not please. I could do a manual backup, delete the site and try to restore one of these backups, but I’d rather not if that can be avoided.

I’ve read other people posting on this issue but haven’t really found an answer to my question above.

Sorry Caspar but it aint good enuff to pass the buck when something like this is your responsibility to fix!

Please test Beta and the setting in job with max execution time.

    Hi,

I’m getting some errors when I do a backup. I’d like to find a way to fix them if I can.
I have put my log at:
    https://pastebin.ws/7eukq8

    In Settings, Jobs I have:
    Maximum script execution time 0

It did create the backup files in folder E:\backup\MyDomain:
    backwpup_9d7d81_2014-04-26_09-21-19.zip.a02904.a02904 Size 1950789632
    backwpup_9d7d81_2014-04-26_09-21-19.zip.a03624.a03624 Size 1950789632
    backwpup_9d7d81_2014-04-26_09-21-19.zip.a06216.a06216 Size 1950789632
    backwpup_9d7d81_2014-04-26_09-21-19.zip.zip Size 1950817116
    index.php.php Size 102
    .donotbackup.donotbackup Size 73
    .htaccess.htaccess Size 233

After the backup was done I do have 1.73Gb free
Do you have any idea what I might do to fix the errors?

Thank you for a really great plugin,

    Docfxit

Please try the Beta from https://github.com/inpsyde/backwpup. There are many thinks on archive writing improved.

    Thank you for the reply…

I’m a little confused. When I go to that web site I see Initial 3.0.14-beta
Currently the live version is 3.1.12.

I don’t see any other beta versions.
Where could I find the beta for download?

    Thank you,

    Docfxit

@docfxit Just download the whole repository, it is currently v3.1.3-beta5.

The references to 3.0.14-beta that you see are commit messages from an old commit – those files have not changed since then which is why they display the old commit message.

Where did you download that version from?

    Thanks,

    Docfxit

Download zip, at the right hand side of the Github page Daniel linked to.

Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction to download the beta. That worked great.

I’m getting errors during the backup with the beta version 3.1.3 beta 5
The entire log can be seen at:
    https://pastebin.ws/9mhf0b

    The error is:
WARNING: opendir(E:/Backup/BackupFolder/,E:/Backup/BackupFolder/): Access is denied. (code: 5)

Since it just wrote the backup file:
    backwpup_9d7d81_2014-05-01_03-04-19.zip

I don’t understand why it can’t read it.
If the permissions aren’t correct I’d like to know what they should be so I can fix it.
    Running on Win7 Pro sp1
    In IIS 7.5

    Thanks for a great plugin.

    Docfxit

When you Google for “opendir Access is denied. (code: 5)” you can find many about that problem.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

Would it be possible for you to add some code:
    get_current_user()

And print it in the log so I can figure out what user needs permission?

    Thank you,

    Docfxit

If you got to BackWPup > Settings > Informatios ther the user will be displayed.
