WARNING – MESS! Fails with WP 3.8.1 !!!

  • Used to love, love, love this plug-in….I’m so sad it won’t work with WP 3.8.1

    I have a collossal MESS – It has locked me out of deleting certain things on my website, or making changes – even though I deleted. My next step is to go into my hosting panel and look for any trace left over files.

    I have my links printed in write type over my video on my home page – looks TERRIBLE.

    Word to the wise – if you are a confident ‘amateur’ – test before you get a mess.

    Anyone got any ideas? I had put my links in Widgets and I see them in Menu as well. But now I can’t delete them, or go in an move them —

    HELP!

  • I have not had any trouble with this plugin in 3.8.1 on multiple sites.

    This plugin does one thing: flip a switch.

    add_filter( 'pre_option_link_manager_enabled', '__return_true' );

    There is absolutely no front-end code.

    Have you ruled out other plugins or page templates?

    Can you post a link to your site?
