    Hi,

I’m getting the following warning from my hosting provider:

THE FOLLOWING FILES MATCHES ONE OR MORE KNOWN MALWARE SIGNATURES.

Critical Directory Access Disabled – Jul 17 18:27:15 aluminium [‘/home/…/public_html/wp-content/nfwlog/firewall_2016-07.php’] – Known exploit = [Fingerprint Match] [PHP REQUEST Exploit [P0007]]

    What does this mean?

    thanks

It looks like the firewall blocked a threat and wrote the incident to the firewall log, but your host takes this line of log as the threat itself.
I recommend to delete the firewall_2016-07.php log. As it is 3 years old, you probably don’t need it any more.

Many thanks, I’ll do as you suggest
