Warning message from WP

    Just over a week ago, I got this message from WP next to the plugin:
    There is a new version of Timber available. View version 1.17.0 details or update now.

    Warning: This new version of Timber introduces some major new features which might have unknown effects on your site.
    Is your theme in active development? That is, is someone actively in PHP files writing new code? If you answered “no”, then DO NOT UPGRADE. We’re so serious about it, we’ve even disabled the update link. If you really really think you should upgrade you can still download from www.ads-software.com, but that’s on you!

    I haven’t updated but now my blog posts have disappeared, although I don’t think Timber can be the reason, I would like to know why I’m getting ths message.

    Version 1.16.0 The message is on the update screen for 1.17.0

    Thank you but I now no longer need Timber, I shall be deleting the plugin.
