    can’t upgrade so please don’t ask that ??

    No i will not ask you to update:-)

    But the plugin is not tested with your wordpress version so i can not guarantee that it is working.

    Okay, thanks for that. But I guess my initial post still stands: the warning message is a tad confusing, because it tells you the plugin version is outdated.
