    After update WordPress to 5.5.0. I get this warning messages, when I diable the popup maker plugin the warning is gone.

    Is there a fix?

    Deprecated: wp_make_content_images_responsive is verouderd sinds versie 5.5.0. Gebruik in plaats daarvan wp_filter_content_tags(). in /home/pahedomotica/test.pahedomotica.nl/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4773

    Thank you.

    Hide the warning is NOT a fix, the plugin should be fixed.

    I have the same, traced to here:

    Backtrace from fatal error ‘wp_make_content_images_responsive is deprecated since version 5.5.0! Use wp_filter_content_tags() instead.’ at …/wp-includes/functions.php 4773:

    …/wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/classes/Model/Popup.php 132 calling apply_filters()
    …/wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/classes/Site/Popups.php 128 calling get_content()
    …/wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/classes/Site/Popups.php 106 calling preload_popup()

    Same here

    I confirm, same here. Disabling the Popup maker plugin, makes the issue disappear, and the turning off debugger hides the issue, but plugin fix is needed. Updating the plugin to the latest version did not resolve the issue. Please help.

    Thank you very much for your questions and replies everyone. I got the same new warning message when I updated my website to WordPress 5.5. Disabling the Popup Maker plugin made the message go away.

    In my case, it so happens that I’ve been moving my forms to be on page, so I have no need for Popup Maker any more. So removing the Popup Maker plugin will be a permanent solution for my website.

    Thanks again!

    Hey @mattsson @donk3y @fmarconi @webprom @pahedomotica

    Thank you for using Popup Maker. WordPress had added a newer system for filtering content in their 5.5 update which was causing this warning. We have just released 1.11.2 to use the new functions so your site will no longer display these after you update.

    Thanks for the update, problem solved ??

    Hi Frank,

    Indeed, your latest update did make the error disappear at my website. Thank you.

    My only complaint is, I believe WordPress does describe what’s to come in upcoming releases. Doesn’t the WordPress core development team offer pre-releases for plugin developers to test their plugins BEFORE WordPress releases an update?

    I realize a PHP warning is not as severe as an error, but I’d feel more confident in using plugins that don’t generate PHP warnings.

    Cheers,
    Carol

    Thanks!

    I just update all my plugin and the error gone.
