  • Running the wp-rocket caching plugin on the affected site. Also running wp-rocket on an unaffected site; so I don’t think it’s the cause.

    All sites are running on the same server.

    @thewebatom Can you clear your cache on the affected site and see what happens?

    Clearing the cache made it go away for two page loads, and then it returned.

    It keeps returning for me too. Clearing the cache doesn’t solve it.

    A radical solution would be to definetely remove this “annoying” notice from your code after all?

    Do either of you have additional users other than your own account on the site? Such as editors?

    Yes, there’s a couple of admins, a ‘Shop Manager’, three ‘Shop Assistants’, a handful of editors, and 500-ish customer accounts.

    Thank you for confirming. 3.0.3 restricts the notice to the AIOSEOP settings pages to make it less intrusive (which we should have done from the beginning).
    However, we believe we’ve discovered the actual cause of the bug, and it’s only triggered when there are non-admins present in certain conditions. We hope to have it tested and released in 3.0.4 to ideally resolve this once and for all. I appreciate your patience.
