Ok so I just scrolled down. They basically said what I did.

I agree, I never looked for stats, but I also must limit my amount of work and I decided not to look for IE6 anymore…

I care about IE6 only if the target audience will have a significant amount for that specific site. One of my sites has 2.3% IE6 users, and just under 17% IE7. I could care less what it looks like in that one for IE6.
I don’t have any sites that are close to the mid-30s, but most are enough that I still have to pay attention to IE6. The number keeps dropping all the time though, as more and more people are upgrading to IE7, buying Vista, or seeing the light and switching to Firefox.

I suppose I should comment on the thread topic too…
I’ve used this plugin on several of my sites and many customer sites for a long time. It may have minor issues here and there, but nothing that can’t be worked with. Not that I use IE6 ever, but I always test my sites for IE6 compatibility along with the rest of the commmon browsers, and have never had a problem with this plugin.
The “warning” post is completely uncalled for, considering people have no clue what his specific problem is. Someone who doesn’t know better would read it and assume that any IE6 user won’t be able to view your content.

What a silly topic. Perhaps it should be locked?

There is no issue with this plugin in IE6 at all. The default CSS may not work with IE6 (I haven’t checked), but that is irrelevant to the plugin as it can be over ridden by your themes CSS anyway.
