Warning: Performance disater

  • My website started to become really slow recently, I even changed web hosts, bought a VPS instead of a shared hosting and setup 5 staging websites trying to find the issue.
    Eventually, I traced the issue to this plugin. It causes wordpress to become terribly slow while running on a VPS with 2 cores and 4GB RAM and for what? a very simple functionality.

    Avoid if you don’t want to waste a week of your life debugging the issues and migrating servers like I did.

  • Hi @yward sure that′s the plugin causing the performance issues? I didn′t notice a performance degreement.

    @aneises Hello, unfortunately yes.

    It might not be noticeable with a small database or a light website, but my website is an e-commerce one (woocommerce) and it caused updating products to take 2-3 minutes just to save changes, not only that it maxed out my server’s resource use as it has some sort of memory leak.

    This is just my experience, it may be a conflict with some other plugin I have as alot of users are using this happily.
