  • I seem to be having a problem with this and WordFence. My site will start displaying jittery as I scroll down the screen. Once I deactivate BruteProtect all went back to normal. Do we need both Wordfence and BruteProtect or does one cancel out the other?

My company uses WordFence a a standard, but we were under heavy attack and BruteProtect had the additional features we desired. Fro what I understand, it performed and did the trick.

As new features and settings are rolled out by both, you’d have to do a comparison to decide which one you want, but running more than one security plugin is by nature asking for trouble.

    Hey all,
We do have a note on our site about using BruteProtect with other plugins. Take a look at that and let us know if you have any additional questions.

We don’t have plans to release new features in BruteProtect as we’re focused on adding botnet protection to Jetpack some time in the future.

mikeypowel1, I will try to get more info on your specific issue.

    Thanks for using BruteProtect!

    Hey mikeypowel1!

Is it possible to provide me with a link so I may take a look at whats causing the scrolling issue. My guess is that there’s a JS conflict somewhere with the theme and / or another plugin.

    Thanks!
