Question about WP Forum Server – when you click the Registration on the forum, it takes you to WordPress login to register. It appears a user who registers through that link can login to your wordpress site, not just the forum. How can you prevent that?

That is true. Forum Server utilizes WordPress’ built-in registration system.

If you have other content that is accessed only by some other type of user, you can change the user-level access of content.
