• Hello,

We recently went live at allsaintsepping.org. We now have members trying to register, but when they do they receive the following message substituting every field on the page after they click register:

Warning: strtolower() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/content/a2pnexwpnas01_data01/76/3353176/html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/core/um-short-functions.php on line 1320

Additionally, I have the set registration status for the “Member” role to Require Admin Review, however this does not appear to be working as my test user could see our Member Directory before I approved it via Users.

I have tried to reset the theme to 2016 and disabled all plugins but this made no difference.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

    Thanks

    John

  • Hi,

Nice looking site. Did you deactivate every plugin other than UM at the same time AND switch to the 2016 theme? There’s a lot going on plugin and theme-wise on your login page, so I’m just asking to confirm before offering any other suggestions.

Are you using any other membership plugin or user role editor?

    Best regards,
    Rob

Just a suggestion: try disabling the Autoptimize plugin if you haven’t already done so.

Hi Rob. I disabled all plugins except UM and UM captcha and a specific plugin for Church Themes and I changed the theme at the same time.

Oh, and no there’s no other membership plugin being used. We do use Theme My Login tho to format the login screen.

    Thanks John

I have the exact same error :Warning: strtolower() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/heldenva/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/core/um-short-functions.php on line 1320
