Warning! This does not work with the X Theme

  • This looked great but before I used the Pro version I tried the base one. When I click just some formatting appears and no calendar. I hate to have to spend so many hours. I disabled all other plugins and that did not fix it. I was using the X theme by Themeco and when I switched back to twenty sixteen it started working. I wrote them and posted on the forum. They said I had to buy the Pro version to get support. How smart is that? It doesn’t work, so why would I do that?

    While it is true we do not provide support on our customer forums on our website.

    We do try to help out here.

    Anyway, because of the way X Themes modifies the Archive Content a setting has to be changed in the theme to get the calendar to work.

    I Found if I set these two settings to this it worked for me:

    X Theme Setting:
    Appearance > Customize > Blog > “Full Post Content on Index” Set to > On

    The Events Calendar Settings:
    Events > Settings > Display Tab > “Events template” Set to > Default Events Template

    Does that work for you?

    It work up until 4.41 and then the photo display will not work.

    Any help on this?
