I have a warning on my WooCommerce dashboard that I don’t really trust, asking me to deactivate the old WooCommerce Admin. Here‘s a screenshot.

Here‘s a screenshot of my installed Woocomerce plugins, and it’s not showing that any updates are available.

Can anyone advise if the warning is legitimate, and what to do if it’s not?

I have the same thing update the WOOCOMMERCE to last version and click to Deactivate, I have just made it and it’s work

    don’t forget back-up

Thanks, I’m thinking I’ll just leave it alone for now. You can’t dismiss the warning like you usually would, and if Woocommerce release a change I’ll see that in “Updates available”.

    Hi All,

WooCommerce Admin is now part of WooCommerce core so no additional plugins are required for this functionality.

It seems like you still have the now out of date WooCommerce Admin plugin and have WooCommerce 4.0 installed which includes the plugin feature as part of the core.

I would suggest removing the WooCommerce Admin plugin completely as you no longer need it. This should stop the message from being displayed as the separate plugin is no longer being updated.

As standard I would suggest you back up site and DB before you go changing things

    Steve.

    Same problem!
Deleting the old WooCommerce Admin version does not help!

    EDIT:
It was stupid FireFox cache problem.
I cleared it and the notice gone.

Deleted the Cache in Chrome and still message is showing…..
    Other solutions available ?

Flushed all cache and issue still here. WooCommerce Admin deactivated and deleted as well. No dice.

    Same issue here. -push-
    Still not solved for everyone!

    Good day all,

I have the same problem. Clearing the cache does not help and the old admin plugin is deleted.

    Kind regards,
    Irian

    Hi folks,

I was able to get this notification to disappear on one of affected sites by installing the latest standalone version of WooCommerce Admin, activating it, deactivating and deleting:

    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-admin/releases

I’m assuming that the traces of the old version are not wiped from the database in certain cases although I didn’t investigate further at this point.

It seems @grigaswp’s solution works for me too.

Oh thank goodness, @grigaswp’s solution worked for me as well. Thank you!

@grigaswp’s solution worked for me too, thank you very much!

This issue appeared for me and @grigaswp solution worked for me too. Thanks ??
