I upgraded to WordPress 4.4.1 today, upgraded EWWW to 2.5.8 at the same time.

Now when I upload an image to the Media Library, I get the same warning many times (>20) per image:

Warning: unlink(/var/www/mysite/html/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/testopti.png): No such file or directory in /var/www/mysite/html/wp-content/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/ewww-image-optimizer.php on line 1015

However, the images do get uploaded and compressed.

    I’m on Multisite. Related?

While the next release will fix this error, I AM curious to know why people are seeing it so frequently. Do you have any tools enabled that are not being detected? Any warnings on the EWWW settings screen for any of these: optipng, pngout, pnquant, cwebp?

I have the same problem on single-site.

@niska, no warnings about missing tools or anything? Can you post a screenshot of the EWWW Plugin Status (expanded, of course)?
