• Hello everybody!

Recently I started getting these warnings whenever I do update a plugin (either). Would someone help me understand why this is happening and mainly tell how do I solve.

Whenever these three messages appear followed by the warning that the plugin has been successfully reactivated.

Warning: ftp_rename(): Sorry, but that file doesn’t exist in /home/myname/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-ftpext.php on line 209

    Plugin reactivated successfully.

  • Hello,
I have the same problem, also get the same error message if I install a new theme or update an existing one.
I also asked my webhost to look into this and they couldn’t find a solution.
    Any suggestions?
