    Hi,

    When using the minification feature of Autoptimize for some reason it doesn’t minimize all my inline css or js, but the cache minification option of Cache Enabler does minimize everything.

    I want to use the minification feature of Cache Enabler and disable the minification option in Autoptimize. But when i do this Cache Enabler gives me the warning :

    “The Autoptimize plugin is already active. Please disable minification in the Cache Enabler settings.”

    I can’t close this warning.

    Basically, i want to use the minify feature from Cache Enabler because it gives me better results than the minify feature from Autoptimize. But i still want to use the rest of the features of Autoptimize without Cache Enabler giving me a constant warning.

  • FYI; AO indeed does not minify the inline CSS or JS (yet).

    Wow. I’ll have a quick look at my website https://codigo.bet to check if autoptimized created js problems. I’ve installed yesterday and only checked the pageSpeed.

    @frank

    Ah, that’s why! Look forward to future update then ??

    AO is not causing js problems. The warning was simply from the cache enabler plugin saying that you basically shouldn’t have the minify features enabled if you have AO enabled.

    I had to disable the cache enabler minify functions anyway, because although it did minify my inline css and js, chrome developer tools gave me warning saying “”Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input”” which i suspect was due to removing a closing end tag.

    Thanks for the info.

    Hi,

    I get the same warning while using AO + Cache Enabler.

    I am using AO only for CSS/JS and Cache Enabler for HTML. This works best for my website and I get no problems with a broken design.

    So is it possible to ged rid of that warning with a future update, when using this kind of config? Or can this warning be ignored?

    best regards, Frank

    You should be fine to safely ignore this warning (as long as you aren’t overlapping your minification settings) however I have made a note with the developers about this.

    Good to know and thanks for your efforts!
