• Hey there folks,

Just wanted to give a heads up if you use this plugin. If you have variable products in your store items. This plugin messes the pricing up and displays wrong prices. There has been multiple reports about this happening.

  • Thanks for the update Simon!

    Hey,

I have just installed the plugin and come across this issue with random variable prices being displayed on FB. Last comment on this thread is 2 months ago and I was just wondering (quietly hoping) if there has been an update to solving this.

    Cheers,

    Hey @ladynin!

The Facebook team eventually let us know that it was not possible to assign a default variation to be displayed on the shop page (and therefore keep the sam price displayed too!) with the older version of the API we used.

We’ve since updated to their newest API that would allow this, and our team is looking at adding this as soon as we can. As v2 is still fairly new at this point, we’ve been busy working with the Facebook team to iron out the kinks customers are seeing in connecting. So while I’m not sure when an exact release including this feature will arrive, it’s definitely on our radar!

Thanks so much for chasing me up on this, and my apologies I forgot to come back with an update. If there is anything I can do in the meantime, please do let me know, always happy to help. ??

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Hey @ladynin,

It has been a while since we heard from you, so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved. If you’re still experiencing issues please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Simon.

    Hey @simonskyverge,

Thanks for all the previous updates. I just wanted to check in and see how this is coming along, or if there is any ETA on it?

I installed the plugin a few days ago, and have been testing it out and am delighted with it, but like others before me, I am having the same issues with variable pricing on Facebook shop.

    Hey @stapolin!

In the latest version, it is now possible to sync the same default variation selected in WooCommerce across to your catalog. This will happen automatically once you set the default variation in the WooCommerce edit screen: https://cloud.skyver.ge/mXu5d6LL

This should then show the correct variation price on the shop screen. If you’re having issues even after selecting the default variation, please do raise a new topic so we can have a look at your specific setup and what might be causing that!

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Hello @simonskyverge,
hope you are well. I have tried setting the default variation to the lowest price but that didn’t work.
@stapolin @ladynin did you ever find a fix for this?
    please help…I’m loosing customers
