    Hi,

I’m entirely new to WordPress, so please bear with me, I’m sure I’m missing some very basic things. I do know I am running 3.7 if that helps. I also migrated from windows to linux yesterday, but I re-built the entire site after I did that, so I feel like that should be a non-issue.

So, I was working on my portfolio website last night, jakecharlson.com, and after some issues earlier in the day, everything was going very well. There were no issues, no errors, no problems at all. That was about about 2:30am this morning. When I woke up at 7 I found a few errors that presented themselves in text on my site.

    These are those errors:

    /home/content/03/10854203/html/jakecharlson/wp-content/themes/pptitan/header.php on line 11
    ————————————————-
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /home/content/03/10854203/html/jakecharlson/wp-content/themes/pptitan/header.php:11) in /home/content/03/10854203/html/jakecharlson/wp-content/themes/pptitan/header.php on line 11
    ————————————————-
Warning: Unknown: open(/home/content/03/10854203/tmp/sess_fqdifa38he93706ep9c8bfu1j5, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in Unknown on line 0
    ————————————————-
Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct () in Unknown on line 0
    ————————————————-

So, I gather that there is some sort of an issue with my Titan theme, and it is on line 11. I have no coding experience, so I don’t know how to fix it, but I think I could do it if someone could give me some guidance. I called GoDaddy since I do all my hosting through them. They said it was a scripting issue that I must have caused and that it was outside of their scope to fix it. I don’t think I caused it since it occurred when I was asleep, and unless I was hacked, no one else has access to my site.

All of my content is still there, so nothing was lost, it’s just that all those errors popped up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jake

  • Hi Jake,

It definitely seems to be a problem with your theme. I’d suggest contacting the authors of the theme to see if they have a fix.

If you downloaded the theme from the WordPress Theme Repository, you can create a new forum thread via the “Support” tab on their page there.

    Hi Drew,

I downloaded the theme from ThemeForest.com. I didn’t think about trying to contact them or the creator of the theme. I’ll go do that now.

In the meantime, while it seems to be a problem with my theme, any idea as to why it would do this, without me modifying anything, in the middle of the night?

    Thanks for the help.

It’s possible the theme just is incompatible with something. And as it was downloaded from ThemeForest.com, you’ll need to get support from the author there in the future. Good luck ??
