• I get warnings such as the following whenever I update or save a setting in WordPress.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/shavonne/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/Andreas04/functions.php:11) in /home/shavonne/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/inline-uploading.php on line 5

I’m constantly refreshing the page to see if something’s updated. How do I fix this? Please help.

  • Did you recently install a plugin by copying and pasting its text into a file? Plugins usually begin with <?php and end with ?>, and if there is space before or the former or after the latter, you’ll get error messages like that, which often happens if you copy the text of a plugin.
