Warnings from Google Search Console

  • I’m running Simple Calendar version 3.1.19 with WordPress version 4.9.8. I’ve been using Simple Calendar for years without issue, but as of 9/13/2018 Google Search Console starts giving me warnings about my calendar page like:

    Missing field “offers”
    Missing field “image”
    Missing field “performer”
    Missing field “description”

    Google just launched the new version of their search console this month, so I suppose this must be something they didn’t previously check for. Is anyone else seeing this?

  • Google Search Console has shown markup errors on the Friends School of Atlanta website for the following items:

    position field is missing in breadcrumbs
    name field is missing in events

    When will these errors be fixed?

    The warnings continue. No update on how to improve?

    Missing field “endDate”

    When trying to “fix” via the console, we receive an error:

    Cannot continue the validation process. Affected pages were found.

    Is there no fix for this? I’m happy to purchase the Pro version for my client if necessary. Thank you!

    I get similar warnings for my WooCommerce shop.

    Missing field ‘description’
    Missing field ‘review’
    Missing field ‘brand’
    No global identifier provided (e.g. gtin, mpn, isbn)

    Note: Products in my shop have offers and other parameters set that are not recognized by testing tools such as the Rich Results Test by Google.

    Any news about these issues?
