Warnings: Illegal string offset in class.widgets.php

  • Opened the home page of my site and saw these warnings:

    Warning: Illegal string offset 'displayValue' in /home/domain/wp-content/plugins/speedguard/admin/includes/class.widgets.php on line 64

Warning: Illegal string offset 'score' in /home/domain/wp-content/plugins/speedguard/admin/includes/class.widgets.php on line 65

Warning: Illegal string offset 'displayValue' in /home/domain/wp-content/plugins/speedguard/admin/includes/class.widgets.php on line 65

    Warnings persist on page refresh for logged in admin user, I had to deactivate the plugin.

    WP 5.5.1, SpeedGuard 1.8.2, theme 2020 with no widgets anywhere.
