    Every time I try to upload a photo to add to a new post, the above message appears and I really don’t understand it.
    I can eventually upload a photo but I am very worried about the message.
    On the Home page there is a link to XHTML which I dont understand either, I would like to know how to remove it if thats possible.
    If that link is visible to everyone, does that mean they can alter things on the site if they want to?
    My site is
    thecatswhiskas.com

    If you want the log-in details to the site I can arrange that for you
    Thanks..Dai

    Hi, The site is

    the cats whiskas

    on the front page under ADMIN is a link to XHTML.
    I don’t understand what this link is for, the site was already built when I purchased it so I really would like to remove that link, but I don’t know how,
    Could you explain please in Layman’s terms?
    Thanks.

    It’s a link that enables you to validate the page for any XHTML markup errors. Looks like it’s either being generated by the Meta Widget (in appearance -> Widgets) or it’s part of the sidebar template’s default content.

    Cheers,
    it’s part of the sidebar template default content.
    I would like to know how to delete it or remove it , but that’s something that I would have to be shown.
    Thanks anyway.

    Try adding some widgets to your sidebar via Appearance -> Widgets.

    It’s on the Stylesheet,
    Description: Lifestyle is a 3-column Widget-ready theme created for WordPress.

    Author: StudioPress
    Author URI: https://www.studiopress.com
    Version: 3.0
    Tags: three columns, fixed width, white, tan, teal, purple, sidebar widgets

    Try adding some widgets to your sidebar via Appearance -> Widgets.

    Have tried that, but no success.

    I say no success, I added Ads By Clickank ok but that link stayed there!

    What happens?

    Thread Starter theweig3

    (@theweig3)

    The ads by clickbank are there but that XHTML link is still there.
    Its not a widget that I can see or remove

    Thread Starter theweig3

    (@theweig3)

    can I send you the login details so you can see for yourself?

    Its not a widget that I can see or remove

    Then it must be part of the sidebar template file. You’ll need to edit that template file (presumably called sidebar.php) and remove:

    <li class="widget" id="archives">
    <h2>Admin</h2>
    <?php wp_meta(); ?>
    </li>

    This will remove the whole Admin section from your sidebar.
