Was editing excerpt count in functions.php and now site won't load

  • Night,

    If anyone can help me that’d be great! I was editing the functions.php file, changing the excerpt count from 30 to 20. Clicked update and now my site won’t load….

    My domain is https://caribbeantl.com/

    I checked the file through ftp (FileZilla) and the file never did update, so wonder what went wrong? :S

    Any help on how I can resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

    Just replaced the file with an original from the theme zip, and the site seems to work fine, although, I’m wondering if it was ok to do that without affecting the plugins etc installed on the site?
