was looking good but then killed the website

I attempted to use this a couple years back – everything would seem OK but would eventually totally stuff up Revolution Slider at some random time. Test a page – all good – sign out – then I would get a call from my client a couple of days later saying site was stuffed up. Apparently it was a common problem.

I read that there had been some fixes along the way since – load it today into a freshly built site – wonderful 100% pass on pingdom and shaved 3 seconds off load time.

a few hours later the website is down though I could get into admin

Immediately try to turn off minify – no improvement – tried to clear cache the uninstall – kicked up an error message on uninstalling

Root directory full of core files
reinstall 3 day old database backup
still not working – my htaccess file was stripped clean (which I ultimately realise was causing the issue)

lost three days work – I did not make a backup of data base as I thought it corrupt and replaced it with the three day old backup

Now lost hours of work
