Was not thought out, first version a bust

  • Sorry, but it now takes more clicks to get the same amount of work done. Two clicks to publish… what were your thinking.

    The things I need to work are hidden away by interfaces.

    It’s fine if you wanted to update the underlying technology and provide blocks in the content editor. But the UX needs a lot more work.

    Regarding the two clicks to publish, there’s actually an option now to turn that off. If you click the three dots menu icon in the upper right and then click Options, you can uncheck “Enable Pre-publish Checks”.

    Also, if you install and activate this Gutenberg plugin, you will be able to try out new features and UX improvements before they land in WordPress Core.
