• And here is why:

    1, This plugin is growing bigger and bigger, but none of the new part is for free users, and you can’t just disable or prevent the have-to-pay part to load;

    2, It will send annoying promotional messages to your WordPress backend;

    3, The over-weighted plugin will load its scripts at all over your backend, slowing down all admin pages, even load an admin bar scripts at the frontend. Why can’t you make it to load scripts selectively?

    4, This plugin used to update freequently, fixing and improveing, but now it seems cares nothing but getting payed.

    5, We don’t need fancy UIs, we need SEO improvement. Fancy UIs does nothing but slowing down the backend, what’s wrong with wordpress standard backend UI?

    6, Pro version sure can be a separated indivadule one, why push all stuffs in one plugin and make it over-weighted?

    I’ve been a loyal user of “all in one seo” for like ten more years, I even recommended this plugin in my own blog, please don’t make me like a money-taken salesman.

  • Браво! Поддерживаю по всем пунктам, которые вы написали. Плагин стал отвратительным настолько, насколько он был до этого хорошим. Остался пока на версии 3.7.1, думаю, какую можно придумать замену.

    Hey @freeduke,

    Thank you for your feedback! ??

    Over the past few months we have added lots of free features to the plugin. These include, among other things, the TruSEO content analysis, the SEO analyzer, the Semrush integration, more smart tags, etc. and we definitely will not stop adding new free functionality to the plugin. The visual breadcrumbs (block/widget/shortcode) is the most notable feature we have recently released.

    We also regularly optimize the performance of our plugin, both on the frontend and backend of the site. We are planning on auditing all of our admin scripts again soon, but in the meanwhile, definitely let us know if there any particular pages or areas of your website that load slowly. We have not had any complaints about this recently, so in case the plugin is acting out on your website, our support team would be more than happy to troubleshoot this issue with you.

    With regard to the updates, we are still making improvements and fixing bugs like we used to before and our release frequency has significantly increased. You can find our full changelog here – https://aioseo.com/changelog/. Are there any particular issues that you are running into?

    Feel free to let us know if you have any other concerns!
