Watercolor Theme – Slider images do not appear

    I habitually try out themes before I buy them. Having been burnt. This theme from Ansimuz refuses to display images in the slider. I’m familiar with WP configuration but this one beats me. I’ve tried 2 different servers & 2 different WP installations. Same problem.
    The image size is correct 950 x 337, the settings are OK and the url to the image works when I click on the ‘blank’ slider.
    Has anyone a clue what is going on?
