WAVE WEBAIM REPORT

    In my wave webaim control it shows 8 errors, 3 Empty form label, 1 Empty button, 4 Empty link.
    The Website is in 2 languages, Greek and English. This only happens in English where the content has been translated.
    Which folder should I go to to fix them? Can you help me what to do?

    Hi @kmitikas,

    To start off: I see that your website uses version 5.5.3 of Complianz, while the latest available version of the plugin is currently at 6.1.2. To ensure that your website includes all of the latest additions, I would recommend updating to the latest plugin version.

    About the empty fields you saw in the WAVE report: the fact that this only happens on the English translated version leads me to believe that this is caused as a result of the “403 Forbidden” errors reported by the TranslatePress plugin.

    These errors result in a delay before the translations are loaded, therefore displaying “empty” text fields/buttons in the Cookie Banner during that delay. I expect this to be the reason why the WAVE report mentions these empty fields.

    Thanks a lot for the prompt reply

    I have not made an update at the moment because after that it may show me errors in the Greek version, but it will be done in the near future.

    Any idea how I can fix the speed and translation problem?

    Hi @kmitikas,

    I expect this to be caused because the file “trp-ajax.php” is not reachable on your server: when you visit the URL to this file in your browser, you will see that it returns a “403 Forbidden” error.

    My recommendation would be to start by trying the solutions provided by TranslatePress support in this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/trp-ajax-error/
