Hello we are getting waves of SpamBots creating accounts on our website and attempting to run credit cards through them.

Had a massive wave come in over the weekend (Central Time USA) , and even more coming in at this moment.

There was a wave 3-4 weeks ago, but we removed the Free Trial and that stopped it for sometime.

We are using “Paid Member Subscriptions” Plugin for our Registration and Member Management.

Need someone to take a look at our CleanTalk Logs & Our Plugin to see what security settings we need to update to prevent these mass wave account creation.

    Hello.

Most of spam requests were blocked, but a few were missed. The following settings changing will help. Please, enable the ‘Use Anti-Spam by CleanTalk JavaScript library’ option in the Anti-Spam plugin settings.

Enabling that box did stop the bot account submissions for about 45 minutes then they returned.

    Any other ideas?

We would like to analyze these requests. Please, mark records in your Anti-Spam Log if our service made the wrong decision:

    • Your Anti-Spam Log [ https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests ] —> choose your website in the drop-down menu —> there are buttons “Spam” and “Not Spam” under every record —> mark records using these buttons.

    The guide is here: https://cleantalk.org/help/feedback-spam

ReCaptcha v3 if not set, and add Wordfence to the site and there’s always use Cloudflare.
