    1. I’m using the “Easy Fancybox” plugin for lighboxes on all images in the site. Would there be a way to make it that facnybox (or any lightbox plugin for this matter) be disabled on the variation thumbnails?

    2. I would rather not use the builtin woocommerce lightbox (for various unrelated reasons). Just for testing purposes, I have tried using the builtin woo lightbox with your plugin, which works fine when clicking on the thumbnails, but then there is another issue – if I click on the main product image, the lightbox opens, but it scrolls through all the different variations available (exmaple: blue gray green… everything will be there)

    Hi,

Actually I have no lightbox on my theme, either it uses the Woocommerce default one or other that you might have installed.
I only supply a Lens feature.
You may try disabling the woocommerce default ligthbox in their settings.

If you like my plugin please review it, very much appreciated.

Disabling the woo default lightbox just disables it… And actually when testing the fancybox, it is best to disable it.

I really want to use a lighbox feature along with your plugin. And I imagine that many other users might too… (maybe I’m wrong). But it just doesn’t work right.

Currently neither way is compatible with your plugin. With fancybox enabled, when clicking on a variation thumb, it opens the fancybox (which isn’t a wanted behavior in this case).

And with the woo lightbox, it works fine, it doesn’t open a fancybox on the thumbs, but only when clicking on the main product image (which is good behavior) but once inside the lightbox, when moving from image to image, it includes all the variations as if there is no separation at all… Basically, neither lightbox works well with your plugin…

Do you think there is a chance you would/could address these issues some time?

Thanks, and forgive me for sounding repetitive… ??

    Hi,

I understand, and I do know about all images showing up in the ligthbox.
I did try to show only the related ones, but still haven’t got the full time to look at it.

I will try to include some type of method to show only the images related with the variation, but not any time soon.

I work on this on my spare time, Im sorry I cant go faster.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hi,

I just now looked how the fancybox plugin works, there may be a relatively easy solution to get your plugin to ignore certain images from being lightboxed.

Adding a class to an image LINK called “nofancybox” will do it, as noted in this thread:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-bypass-easyfancybox-on-certain-images?replies=4

I don’t know how difficult it is… but it would be nice to have the option to add any class name at the same screen when adding the product variation. Or if it’s easier to have a global option for adding a class to all thumbnail variations…

    Hi,

Sorry it took my a while to get back to you.
It appears you’ve entered a “noLightbox” class instead of “nofancybox”.

Anyway I’ve found the code to on line 26 in product-thumnails.php ?? changed it to nofancybox and it works great!

    Thanks!!!

    btw: (not related)
You might want to update the FAQ with the new location of the settings page. Also a direct link from the plugins page (like many other plugins) also helps a lot!
