Way to remove final dot from page titles?

Hello,
A client’s website has been using dots at the end of page titles for a long time, so they have ended up with a few hundreds of posts with a dot at the end.
Now I have configured Yoast to add the brand name at the end of each title, and they now look something like:
Title. | Brand Name
Is there a way to remove the dot via Yoast title template? Right now I am using: %%title%% | Brand Name
