I’ve copied a site based on classic content + widgets and switched it to full site editing and block content.

I used the same shortcode as on the live site, but on the live site, I see 6 review (I thought it should be 5), and on the clone, I see 20.

How do I reduce both to 5 reviews?

Also, is there a way to show the place details separately and the reviews separately?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @galbaras,

Please go to wp-admin on the page: Google Reviews / Widgets, find and edit the widget with ID 13195.

At the right section open Common Options and type 5 in the field Pagination.

    Thanks!

Thank you. This worked on one site, which uses a shortcode in a block, but not on another, which uses the widget.

The widget preview looks good, but the front end is still showing 6 reviews, and the “next” link is configured specifically with onclick="return rplg_next_reviews.call(this, 'google', 6);".

This still happens after I clear every conceivable cache. See here.

    Hi @galbaras,

At the moment I see 6 reviews on the right sidebar before ‘Next Reviews’ button and when I click at this button the next 6 reviews will appear. Please tell me what exactly doesn’t work?

    Thanks!

The widget configuration has Pagination set to 3, so 6 is incorrect.

    Hi @galbaras,

In this case, please send debug information from the page Google Reviews / Settings / Advance (tab) to support[at]richplugins.com.

    Thanks!

Looking myself at the debug information, I saw that the Google Reviews widget was assigned to 2 sidebars, and in one of them, the pagination value was old (6). Eventually, I deleted the sidebar widget and recreated it, and the problem went away.

Something is caching the settings and not refreshing them when the widget is updated.

Again, this is using the Classic Widgets plugin, which has no UI for changing the GR Widget settings, other than choosing which one to use.

    Hi @galbaras,

    Thank you for update.

Yes, starting from the version 2.0 you need to delete all old widgets and shortcode and recreate these in the plugin’s widget builder (the page Google Reviews / Widgets). It keeps all settings independent from which you are using – widget or shortcode.

    Thanks!
