Ways to display the uploaded picture in the post

Hello. Thanks for this promising plugin.
I have read support documentation and I have seen the readme.txt file, but still, I have this questions:
I installed the plugin and tested it, I don’t understand why the uploaded image is not displayed in the post by default, which would be a very nice feature.
I managed to apply this tutorial WP-Mix to include the image in the post. the functions.php way did not work, only the single.php solution worked but the image is always shown in full size, no matter I use the_post_thumbnail(array(100, 100)); or the_post_thumbnail(‘medium’);
I have a 3rd issue: If I set the rich editor to be shown in your plugin settings, then I see no content input area at all in the input form, or sometimes I see the rich editor but when I for example change from text to visual, then the editor disapears.
