[WC 3.5] The new copy in email templates…

  • I updated to 3.5 and noticed the email templates changed. There are now messages like “Over to you” (admin new order email) and “Thanks for reading” (customer invoice email).

    I can’t be the only one that finds these messages to be a bizarre addition. I mean, “thanks for reading” an invoice? Really? I guess it’s supposed to be cute and friendly but these messages should not be in there by default.

  • Hear hear. We cannot figure it out either. Why would you put this in emails?
    How can we change this?

    @avz Manually edit each email template. It can be done in the email settings tab. Just annoying to have to do it on multiple sites, and if the template gets updated in the future you have to do it again unfortunately.

    Thanks! I roled back to version 4.7. We had some other issues as well.
    I’ll wait for some other updates.

    I don’t think they should be enabled by default.
