I have the WooCommerce Gutenberg Blocks plugin installed on two sites (both in local development right now). On one, the plug-in works fine. On the other the plugin is listed as active, but the block doesn’t show up in the block picker. Have I forgotten to do something to enable the plugin in my theme? Both sites have custom themes based on the underscores boilerplate.

Me too on the basic Twenty Seventeen template. No sign of it in Gutenberg blocks.

The picker is Product under Widgets. You can also search by “product”.

Gutenberg 4.5.1 and WP 4.9.8.

I’m seeing the Product widget type (which outputs a widget called “smart_slider_1”. It works. I’d hardly call it a Gutenberg block though.

Is it something that requires explicit theme support? I’m using very basic themes based off of the Underscores theme.

@davidrhoden No, there isn’t any explicit theme support required. I have no idea why you’re seeing that shortcode come up – could you post a link to a screenshot?

@warrenholmes: The more I look at it, the more I think the Product widget and the Product Gutenberg Block aren’t connected. I’ve simply got both. The widget is OK but it would be easier to just use the block, as I have to create a custom widget holder to hold the widget in the template.

Same for me. I openened an old page where it did work and got the following error message.

This should now be fixed with an upgrade to 1.2 ?? Please let me know if you see any more issues on 5.0!
