    Hi there

    Is the PayFast gateway compatible with Woocommerce 5 and up?

    I get update warnings from within WordPress updates page that it’s not. Is it safe to update WooCommerce?

    Yes.

    Sure is. However, as always, I would recommend doing the updates on a staging site prior to pushing them on your production site. As for the notice, I can assure you that our in-house built extensions have been tested with the latest versions of WooCommerce. It just needs to declare that in the header of the plugin, which need to be be added in an update. If you are on the latest versions of PayFast and WooCommerce, you can rest assured that they are tested together.
