WC plugin is versatile, flexible, relevant, easy to use

The WooCommerce plugin is an extremely powerful, versatile, flexible, up-to-date, and easy to use sophisticated tool for running an e-commerce website. It gives control to user from A to Z and there are a great number of third party plugins that support WooCommerce to make administration life even easier. Overall, when I was deciding which e-commerce platform I was going to use (magento, shopify, joomla, bigcommerce, joomla, etc), I ultimately chose WooCommerce because of the greater control I would have. Yes, this also means there is much more responsibility on my part to keep it updated along with the associated plugins. But the trade off, compared for example to shopify, is that along with my chosen theme, and child-theme in place, I can get the web store to look, feel, and RUN exactly as MY CUSTOMERS want and expect it to run (not as I think it should!). WooCommerce support is excellent and the vast amount of published questions and answers affords any one running WooCommerce quick solutions to most (if not all) of the “problems” you might run into.
