WCAG 2.0 Compliant?

Hi Adam,

We’re glad you’re including Formidable in your WordCamp presentation! Which WordCamp is it? Do you know if there is a site or plugin that can check the HTML on a page and tell us if there is anything that is not WCAG 2.0 compliant in our forms?

Alright, so a form built with the free version complies with all the guidelines. A form built with our Pro fields has a couple of failures. Our rich text field that uses the WordPress rich text editor doesn’t pass for a variety of reasons, but we don’t have control over this since we’re using the wp_editor() function to add the rich text buttons. Our combo fields (Address and Credit Card) don’t pass because they don’t have individual labels for each input/select element. This is something we could improve. Also, our use of an icon in a collapsible section doesn’t pass. I’m not sure what the best fix for that would be, but we can look into it. Last thing I found was our “Other” option needs a label as well.

If we can trust the report from the first link you sent me, then you can safely say that our free version is WCAG 2.0 Compliant, and feel free to pass on the specific failures found in the pro version if needed. We will work on addressing these in the mean time.
