    I tried to migrate the site using Migrate Guru but failed

    I can login destination FTP using a ftp client (filezilla) without problem (username & password correct). but migrate guru returns error:

    We are unable to contact the source site. Due to this the migration cannot be completed.

    The website does not have security plugin that might block access.

    What is the issue?

    (I hope it will return some useful error information for debugging. )

    Hi,

    You got this error when we are unable to contact the Migrate Guru plugin on the source site. Did you have a firewall on the source site?

    no. the source site is new wordpress installation without plugin
