@mazzy – I suspect the latest update may have caused your custom template to be removed from the site. You can re-add it and the display should work (although we cannot guarantee a custom template will work as we are not its author).

You might also look at updating the inserted display to use the current generated shortcode versus the NextGEN Legacy style shortcode you are sharing as your example.

    Thanks!

    Hi Cais!
Template is at place – https://prntscr.com/hu5q60
So as written here – https://www.imagely.com/docs/templates/

    Template source code – https://pastebin.com/R2V8ep1k

    Any thoughts?

@mazzy – I would recommend using the Insert Gallery Window (IGW) and select the template from under the customizations accordion panel (it may be a case of the server environment needing more than just the template “name”, it may need the entire path which the IGW should manage).

    Thanks!

But how can I use my own template?
    Is there any manual?

@mazzy – Select it from the drop-down in the customizations accordion panel when using the IGW to insert the display.

    Thanks!

One of us does not understand the other. To select a template from the drop-down in the customizations accordion panel, I need to first make and place it in the right place.
How can I do it? Where should the template file be located?

There is only one template – https://prntscr.com/hv9c6w

@mazzy – That screenshot points to the NextGEN Gallery installation itself as incomplete, badly corrupted, or possibly customized to an extent that should not be used.

I would recommend deactivating and deleting the current NextGEN Gallery installation from under Plugins > Installed Plugins and then re-installing from under Plugins > Add New … Search for “NextGEN Gallery”.

What your screen capture is showing is a display type (ImageBrowser) and your shortcode would specifically be using the Basic Thumbnails display type (which is not shown?!).

    Thanks!
