We can’t complete your donation. This organisation’s account is inactive.

  • Hi there,

    I get this error message after I set up the plugin,
    “We can’t complete your donation. This organisation’s account is inactive.”

    Does anyone know what would be the reason?

    Is it because the account linked to the donation need to be a business account or the site URL need to be a live domain(currently, the site is sitting on the staging URL)?

    You don’t need a business account to use the plugin. It sounds like either you entered your PayPal email incorrectly or you have an issue with your account – (you will need to contact PayPal for this.)

    Suffering same issue, I’m using merchant ID – the button generated by PayPal works fine. Only the WordPress generated one fail like this.
