    Hi Tim,

To be honest, we don’t understand how to begin with theme translation first settings.

And as long as these 1st settings are not completed, we can’t start translating.

Once it’s properly set, it’s working, but there’s something very unintuitive to do at the beginning and I don’t know what. For example, we’re having this message:

If I click on the link in this message, I’m landing here, where I have tried all I could:

I’ve clicked on “Check config repository” :

    Import config from XML:

And in “Advanced configuration” I don’t know what to put there:

We’re struggling the same, whatever the theme.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best regards,
    Florence.

I didn’t mention the theme is in English and we want to translate some strings in French.

Your theme is – I assume – a premium one, not a WordPress one. That’s why it’s not in my repository.

I’m sorry you find it very unintuitive. Your theme is not set up in a way that Loco Translate understands, and unfortunately there is nothing intuitive about how WordPress localisation works.

If you’re not familiar enough with WordPress localisation to fill in the configuration, you’ll have to ask the theme author for help. I’m unable to provide personal technical help for premium themes.

So your plugin will not work with this theme: https://themes.quitenicestuff.com/sohohotelwp/
This is a paid theme, does it mean it is a premium theme?
