Hi, I have tested the slideshow with Weaver II, not the pro version, but it should work. I can take a look if you want to post a link.

Thanks! Here is the website. There was a slideshow on the front page.

(Is that what you meant by take a look?) I was using meteor slideshow with the previous version of Weaver ii pro with no problem (on a number of sites.)

You have JavaScript error, so the slideshow script is not running. First thing you want to fix though, the slideshow doesn’t have a width set, it needs a width added in the slideshow settings.

The JavaScript error is coming from a Weaver script, try deactivating Meteor Slides and then I will check the site to see if the error is still there or if it’s a conflict between Weaver and Meteor Slides.

Thank you so much for helping! I have deactivated meteor slideshow. (I will also go into settings and set the width also.)

Also, on the Weaver II forum, someone has posted about problems with three other slideshows: https://pro.weavertheme.com/forum/#/discussion/3645/i039ve-lost-it-all-

OK, I checked and the error is still there so this is an issue with Weaver. Here is the error:

Uncaught ReferenceError: noOP is not defined weaverjslib.min.js:1
    each.each.c weaverjslib.min.js:1
    e.extend.each jquery.js:2
    e.fn.e.each jquery.js:2
    b.fn.superfish weaverjslib.min.js:1
    (anonymous function) weaverjslib.min.js:2
    o jquery.js:2
    p.fireWith jquery.js:2
    e.extend.ready jquery.js:2
    c.addEventListener.B

Not too useful, I’d start by disabling the any other plugins that you have running, confirm that it is an issue with Weaver and that there aren’t any conflicts with other plugins.

Then try reinstalling Weaver, just be careful not to clear or delete your theme options. If that doesn’t help you’d have to get in touch with the Bruce, the developer of Weaver, through his support forums. Chances are pretty good that you’re not the first one to get this error and he’ll be able to tell you exactly what the problem is.

    Thanks, I will try that!

I just reinstalled the previous version of the theme– and the slideshow is back! So it must be a conflict with their update! Thanks for your help– I suspect you may hear about this from others, as the update just became available.

A poster on the Weaver Forum says there seems to be an incompatibility in Weaver II 1.2 (Pro) regarding jquery scripts (meteor slides etc). This is caused by “Use Menu Effects” (Main Options –> Menus –> Use Menu Effects).

I don’t have this option selected normally. However, selecting it did not stop Meteor Slides from working, so I suspect there is some interaction of options/plug-ins occurring which is affecting some sites.

In any event, watch this thread for a resolution.

Thanks for sharing Gillian, I’ll keep an eye on that thread.
