Web Comic Template/Theme (Switch from Weebly to WordPress)

  • My Web Comic was being hosted by Weebly, but since Weebly did not offer as much Web Comic support, I decided to create a WordPress based website for it. This comic is supported by many authors and illustrators along with the Parents Choice Gold Award winners KidLit TV. I want this new website to really highlight everything the comic has to offer. When I was using Weebly it didn’t have a great layout, especially with Disqus.

    I want it to have a simple layout/design like Octopus Pie (by Meredith Gran) and Nimona (by Noelle Stevenson).

    I know how to use basic HTML and CSS, but I am so confused on how to create a theme that supports a comic. I have the Webcomic Plugin installed along with ComicPress, but have no idea how to create a theme that supports them. I need to get this website up ASAP. All I really need is a theme similar to the examples above so I can update the comic monthly without any trouble. Thank you for your time!
