Web Display – Transparent Overlay Blocks

    When I navigate to my WP websites (there are 2 at same domain)a transparent white overlay that blocks access to links and pages loads appears just before loading is complete. When I log in to site, transparent overlay disappears. On my computer happens only in Firefox which is what I use. It’s OK in IE on my computer. Support at web host says it’s OK in Firefox from their end. Happened overnight. I made no changes. Help, please!

  • Sounds like something on your machine. Did you install some extra WP add-on item, such as Press This? If that’s not it, I have no idea.

    Thanks, Flamenco. I fixed it. The solution was to clear cache, history, etc.

    Super! Yeah, I’ve done that myself.. I have dozens of WP sites, and only a couple have a cache. I make a change to the site, and start to think that I’ve lost it, and then Ohhhhh… the cache. ??
